Fighting the War in the Rack

Team Glasscock-Fighting the war in the rack

Breast cancer is a widespread disease afflicting both women and men of all ages and races.  It has been estimated that more than 1.6 million new cases of breast cancer occurred among women worldwide in 2010.  What causes breast cancer? The answer is unknown at this time and there still isn’t a cure.

Thanks to organizations like Susan G. Komen, which has created heightened awareness, more people are aware of early detection through screening, improved treatment methods and an increase to breast health services.  As of today more people than ever have a better chance of survival.

The office of David M. Glasscock would like to ask you to join us in supporting this great cause.  We are collecting donations at our office and will be participating in the 18th Annual Susan G. Komen Charlotte Race for the Cure.  The racke will take place October 4, 2014- Marshall Park, Uptown Charlotte.  Festivities begin at 6am with the first Race beginning at 7:15am.
